project night
Tried to get going on the "Fuck U BitcH" song from last practice. I got the kick drum and the bass line sequenced in the PX7. I really need to get to work on writing down the lyrics for ALL the songs we currently plan to play.

jam night
Another jam night, got a few good ideas, including a nice driving industrial number with Captain MC-DJ screaming at the top of his lungs -- "FUCK YOU...GOD DAMN BITCH...I HATE YOU...GOD DAMN BITCH". Okay, so not the most eloquent lyrics, but they work nicely.

so...which country will you move to?
Kerry has conceded. Bush has won -- a 'mandate' according to his delusions. Depression sets in. Anyway, which country are you moving to? Our first choice is Canada (Toronto, which would fit into our NE Quadrant theme). However, I really like the Netherlands (other than the fact that they frown on immigrant Americans). Third choice is Japan and my final choice is anywhere South America -- at least they know how to fuck shit up there when their governments go bad. Maria, here I come ;)
Our practice was slow, I spent some time trying to get the instrumentation for 'Chasing the Dragon' and we also watched Conan which was hilarious -- 'Conan, it was a landslide victory.' And 'Kerry's a flip-flopper'. Hope Conan does just as good when he takes over the Tonight Show.

halloween
Halloween jam -- Fostex #86. Basically just new ideas tonight. Some good, some kinda blah. I really liked our noisy, exploratory ambient attempts. The carny song was also kinda cool and different, but I would need to get the arpeggiated keyboard part synched with the rest of the must for it to sound its best.

hold on, to your dreams
We worked on a new song, "Hold On", for the night. I still need to find a specific keyboard instrument that I used during the first cut of the song. The main instrument I used was a reed instrument on the CS6X. I plan to play live and record the main phrase live on the boomerang while I sing and play noise on the keyboard. We both agree that the song should be short, probably under 4 minutes, but we'll see. Experience shows that it is hard to keep the songs short -- I don't know why!

sunday night
We practiced on Sunday...Fostex #85 as of this writing. "Why is this?" sounded good. "Asian Dragon" (name pending) was a very good rendition. "Die tonight" was good and Andrew questions whether he should do the feedback thing or not -- it sounded good anyway, but if you are reading this site you'll never know!
