hold on, to your dreams
We worked on a new song, "Hold On", for the night. I still need to find a specific keyboard instrument that I used during the first cut of the song. The main instrument I used was a reed instrument on the CS6X. I plan to play live and record the main phrase live on the boomerang while I sing and play noise on the keyboard. We both agree that the song should be short, probably under 4 minutes, but we'll see. Experience shows that it is hard to keep the songs short -- I don't know why!

sunday night
We practiced on Sunday...Fostex #85 as of this writing. "Why is this?" sounded good. "Asian Dragon" (name pending) was a very good rendition. "Die tonight" was good and Andrew questions whether he should do the feedback thing or not -- it sounded good anyway, but if you are reading this site you'll never know!

in the beginning...
This is the first entry in the Northeastern Quadrant weblog. We're a techno/noise/experimental band based in the northeastern quadrant of your mind, so open up and look inside. Currently this site is serving the needs of pilots Captain MC-DJ and Sir Supersonic on their unending quest through the far reaches of space and time. We'll see where it goes from there...
